Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

In order to make purchases, is it necessary to register on Azienda Agraria La Porcareccia?

No, registration is not required to purchase our products.

Is there a minimum order?

The extra-virgin olive oil Porcareccia is packaged in 0.5 liter glass bottles with an anti-knock cap and 0.75 litre bottles and in 3 and 5 litre tins.

You can order the bottles in packs of 2 or 6 or multiples of 6. For orders other than those preset in our shopping cart, please write to us at info@porcareccia.com.

What should I do if the package I receive is tampered with or damaged?

If something goes wrong, don’t worry. In these cases, the advantage of oil is that if a bottle accidentally breaks, the oil will stain the box. If you receive a stained or tampered box, do not collect it. The courier will notify us, and we will either return the products or, if stock is low, issue a refund. If you have any doubts about the procedure, please contact us at info@porcareccia.com.

How do I know where my order is?

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive a confirmation email in which you will find all the details necessary to track your parcel. If you have any problems with tracking, you can write to us at porcareccia@mclink.it and we will do our best to update you on the status of your order as soon as possible.

When will I receive my order?

Your order will arrive at your home in 3/5 working days from the time you place your order (except for the islands, where shipping takes a few more days). Visit the terms and condition page for further details.

Can I receive my purchases abroad?

Of course, we ship throughout Europe United States and Canada.

How much does it cost to ship to Italy?

Shipments to Italy start at a variable cost of around €18, depending on the region. For more detailed information, visit the terms and condition page.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept payment by bank transfer.

I cannot conclude the purchase. What can I do?

If you have any problems or difficulties with your purchase, please contact us at porcareccia@mclink.it. We will be happy to help you step by step.

How do I know that my order has been confirmed?

Once you have completed your order, you will receive a confirmation email to the address associated with your payment order. If you have not received the email, please check the Junk or Spam folder of your inbox and, if you use a Gmail address, also check the Promotions folder.

How does the extra virgin olive oil Porcareccia expire?

The expiry date is 18 months from the moment of packaging in bottles and/or tins. Rather than the expiry date (which applies to perishable products such as milk, yogurt, etc..) we indicate ‘best before …’ because the oil, being a natural preservative, after this period remains good, not harmful to health. The problem, if anything, relates to the organoleptic characteristics, which can deteriorate.

How do you preserve the extra virgin olive oil Porcareccia?

Just to maintain the organoleptic characteristics of our oil, we recommend keeping it in the dark and at a constant temperature between 15 and 18 degrees. Or at least not in direct contact with sources of light and heat. Keeping it near the stove, where oil is usually kept, is the worst way of maintaining the product’s characteristics.

If I am a restaurant or a retailer?

This e-commerce is mainly dedicated to private end customers. If you are a retailer or a restaurant, please write to us at info@porcareccia.com.
